Executive Assistant to the CEO
About CIANA
The Center for the Integration & Advancement of New Americans (CIANA) is a social services organization that works to integrate new immigrants from the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, Latin America, and West Africa into the socio-economic and civic life of American society while maintaining pride in their cultural heritage.
Position Overview
CIANA's CEO is looking for a flexible, hands-on, highly organized person, with excellent communication skills and administrative experience, who can multi-task and work under pressure, to act as the point person between programs, staff, volunteers, and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities

Provide general administrative support to the CEO

Assist with grant writing, fundraising campaigns, program management and reporting

Ensure program compliance, manage client data and statistical reporting, ensure timely record-keeping, and maintain communication across programs

Maintain and update contact lists, donor information, and community resources

Communicate with community partners and public officials, and attend community events/meetings

Recruit personnel, maintain personnel records, manage office site, and perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications

College degree and work experience, preferably in social services or nonprofits

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels of staff and management

Strong program/project coordination, office management skills, and ability to work under pressure

Experience with database management systems and fundraising software

Fundraising/grant writing experience a plus
